Premiere Date for The Strain Season Two Revealed
Until now FX has been secretive on when exactly season two of their gory vampire serial The Strain will be showing up, only committing to a vague “summer” release time. Now we have concrete details: FX will be debuting the new season on July 12.
In this new season, Dr. Ephraim Goodweather (played by Corey Stoll) and Dr. Nora Martinez (played by Mia Maestro) will be searching for a way to create a biological weapon that will stop the vampire plague in its tracks, while that guy they made angry (The Master) will be finding all-new ways to make their lives miserable. Meanwhile Abraham Setrakian (played by David Bradley) will be searching for an ancient book that may contain answers the good guys need.
Poster art hyping the second season has also been revealed. Fortunately, it should be less traumatizing to children (and their parents) than the eyeball worm art that FX plastered everywhere last summer and is still waiting to give your kids nightmares on the Blu-Ray shelf of any retailer.
The Strain Season Two will be airing Sundays at 10 PM ET/PT on FX, beginning July 12th.
