New Airdrop Campaign With DARKTIMES Rune Run

There will be an airdrop campaign beginning on Monday, September 2nd, where participants can collect runes and climb the leaderboard to win Genesis Chests. More than 20 web3 gaming communities will participate.

Described as “sort of like airdrop farming, but for gamers,” Rune Run lets you play web3 games while completing social tasks. It also offers Twitter interaction, content creation, Genesis chests, and other rewards

Genesis NFTs should give you early access to the blockchain game when it launches later this year. Besides early access, Genesis NFTs also give you the option to play at more advanced levels offering bigger rewards.

In the event, participants will be able to collect runes to compete on the leaderboard. Though not mentioned, you can expect to see Genesis Chests as leaderboard rewards, while runes may represent points or potentially something else.

The campaign will be hosted by 20 of the most prominent blockchain gaming communities, including MON Protocol and Mocaverse. These communities will offer their own quests for the campaign and may reward NFT holders with runes or points.

This role-playing game takes place in a Nordic medieval world and features a physics-based combat system and skill tree progression. According to a Medium post, the game combines elements of Diablo with Fortnite.

There will be 36 players all starting with nothing and exploring dark fantasy environments to hunt weapons, garments, cosmetics, and cosmetic items. The same post teases social logins, custodial wallets, and fiat payments as all the features that will be in the game.
