Call of Duty Season 6 Gets ready for Launch
Both Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone received a wealth of new content with the release of Season 5, including great 6v6 maps, new meta weapons like the Static-HV, and Warzone’s Superstore. The Call of Duty Season 6 is right around the corner.
It is likely that Season 5 Reloaded will still offer plenty of content for players to explore, but with a new seasonal update on the horizon, Season 5 of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone will end soon. Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone’s fifth season ends on September 18 at 9 AM PT according to the in-game countdown, which is just one week after Black Ops 6 Beta Weekend Two concluded.
Call of Duty Season 6 Coming Soon
If you didn’t unlock the Battle Pass rewards or Weekly Challenges, you can claim them during this time as they will no longer be available once the season is over. All weapons and Aftermarket Parts introduced via the Battle Pass or Weekly Challenges will be moved to the Armory Unlock section once the season is over.
Activision has confirmed in a blog post that Season 6 of Modern Warfare 3 will be the final season of the game. It will feature new weapons via the Battle Pass, new 6v6 maps, and new content for Warzone.
It is unlikely that Modern Warfare Zombies will receive any significant updates, but that may change in the future. Season 6 is also likely to mark the debut of The Haunting Halloween event, which should be released sometime during the season.
In addition to the Halloween-themed cosmetics, there will be a slew of spooky-themed updates. Zombie Royale is likely to return in Warzone, map changes will be made to Multiplayer and Battle Royale, and new maps will be released for Multiplayer and Battle Royale.
Players who install the Season 6 update through the Call Of Duty HQ will also have all Black Ops 6 Beta content uninstalled from their devices, which will free up space for future updates.
