Battle Crush to Add New Single Player Mode
In June, NCsoft released its free-to-play MOBA-style battle royale Battle Crush to early access. While most fans and players liked the game, it drew a lot of harsh criticism for various reasons, including mechanics, monetization, and pay-to-win claims.
NCsoft has attempted to right the ship with multiple bugfix and balance patches, but Steam player numbers have completely collapsed, falling from 2,840 to 100 in its last 24-hour peak, and only 65 players active at the time of this story.
Those numbers could be the one that prompted the studio to announce its next patch’s features ahead of time, which include a solo player mode. The solo mode pits a single player against bots in the game’s battle royale.

This patch also includes new balance updates for the game’s heroes, as well as bug fixes. The title’s current season ends on September 18th for our side of the globe. However, the release date is still unknown.
According to the publisher’s website, there will be up to 30 players fighting at the same time.
Calixers – heroes chosen by the gods – have come to conquer the arena. Join the fray where the strongest player out of 30 will be the last one standing. Leap into a new kind of battlefield filled with explosive energy.
The goal of BATTLE CRUSH is to fight among up to 30 players from all around the world and become the sole survivor in the end. It is a quick, action-packed game where each round only lasts for 8 minutes at most. Survive as the ground collapses beneath your feet while enemies come for you from all directions.
Hermes, and other mythological figures have all appeared at the arena looking stunning. Each Calixer has their own story and unique skills. Decide which one you want to be, and become the hero!
